Virtual Currency & Purchases Terms
RockiesSunrise (rockiessunrise.com) • Canada • Effective date: 2026-03-05
These terms apply to purchases of virtual currency (e.g., “Coins”), virtual items, and any paid features offered in RockiesSunrise services (the “Service”). They supplement our general Terms of Service.
1) Virtual Currency is not real money
- Virtual currency and virtual items are digital features licensed to you for entertainment within the Service.
- They have no cash value, are not legal tender, are not redeemable for cash or cash equivalents, and are not a bank account or stored value product.
- Except where required by law, they are non-refundable and non-transferable.
2) No resale or off-platform exchange
You may not sell, trade, gift, or otherwise transfer virtual currency/items outside the Service, or use third-party marketplaces. Any attempted transfer may be void and may result in suspension or termination.
3) Pricing, taxes, and availability
- Prices are displayed at checkout and may be changed at any time. Promotions may be time-limited.
- Applicable Canadian taxes (e.g., GST/HST/PST/QST) may be added depending on your location and billing details.
- Virtual currency/items may be changed, removed, or rebalanced for gameplay/feature reasons.
4) Billing and authorization
By purchasing, you authorize the applicable payment method or app store account to be charged. You are responsible for charges made from your account, including by anyone you allow to use it. Keep your login and device secure.
5) Subscriptions (if offered)
If the Service offers subscriptions, your subscription renews automatically until cancelled through the method used to purchase (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play, or our website). Renewal price and billing interval are shown at purchase. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not typically refund the current billing period except where required by law or the platform’s policies.
6) Refunds and chargebacks
- All sales of virtual currency/items are generally final once delivered, except where required by applicable law or where a platform’s refund policy applies.
- If you purchased through Apple/Google/another platform, refunds are handled by that platform under its rules.
- Unauthorized payment activity should be reported promptly. Initiating a chargeback or payment reversal may result in loss of access to purchased items and may lead to account restrictions while the dispute is investigated.
- Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights available under applicable Canadian provincial/territorial consumer protection laws.
7) Restrictions, fraud, and enforcement
We may revoke or adjust virtual currency/items if we reasonably believe they were obtained through error, fraud, abuse, or policy violations. We may also limit purchase quantities or require additional verification to protect users and the Service.
8) Updates
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Effective date” above shows the latest revision. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
